Global Business Bridge is neither a marketing agency nor a traditional trading house. We are a rare consulting practice combining engineering rigor with global commercial execution — founded by Richard in 2026, rooted in Chinese manufacturing, serving global buyers.
Trained in Information & Computational Science at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). Started as a chemistry analyst, then crossed 9 industries over 17 years — chemicals, building materials, kitchenware, home appliances, advanced materials, pharma packaging, industrial equipment. From a one-man SOHO start, to leading multinational sales teams, to rebuilding export workflows with AI and systems thinking today.
Richard combines two consulting models in one practice — James Leaver–style outbound strategist for Chinese factories, and Paul–style inbound advisor for global buyers. These aren't side businesses but mutual intelligence sources for each other.
"I don't sell decks or dreams — I deliver systems that actually run." — Richard
This path explains why our method differs from pure marketing agencies. Richard came up from the lab bench, ran a SOHO desk, headed factory export divisions, and finally chose the consulting + systems route.
An engineer walked into export, then rebuilt it with engineering rigor.
The undergraduate training made mathematical modeling and systems decomposition second nature — habits that later shaped every part of Richard's export practice.
His first role combined technical support with overseas sales, with extended stays at Saudi and UAE client sites. Four years deeply shaped his understanding of Middle East commercial logic — which later became the differentiating edge of our ME services.
Four years from zero to $8M annual turnover. Built overseas channels in kitchenware, home appliances, and industrial equipment, while systematically adopting Apollo, Lemlist, and CRM automation — long before they were industry-standard.
Served as International Business Director at a listed new-energy/advanced-materials company. Led overseas brand strategy, sales infrastructure, and channel restructuring. Grew the team from 12 to 47 and annual exports from $40M to $180M over five years.
The full pivot from operator to consulting + systems. Combining the James Leaver outbound strategist model with Paul's inbound sourcing advisory model, layered with our proprietary AI workflows.
Industry experience isn't a résumé keyword — it's knowing where things break, how each buyer thinks, and which processes carry compliance risk. Richard has run front-line operations in all nine.

Pure outbound risks becoming China-internal echo chamber; pure inbound lacks ground truth on factory capability. We chose the dual-loop because both sides feed each other on intelligence, network, and judgment.
James Leaver model — factory-centric. From lead generation, sales infrastructure, AI growth, to brand trust — building the capability for factories to engage end-brands directly.
Paul model — buyer-centric. From precision sourcing, deep DD, QC monitoring, to compliance audit — giving overseas buyers fully accurate supply-chain intelligence without flying to China.
Four hard constraints we hold ourselves to. Not marketing slogans — these are non-negotiables earned over 17 years of operating.
Before kickoff, the free audit explicitly maps what we can / cannot / will commit to. We turn down 30%+ of inbound requests yearly — not arrogance, but because signing on impossible scope wastes everyone's time.
No glossy decks — only measurable outputs: inquiry counts, conversion rates, margin shifts, new clients signed, suppliers onboarded. Every deliverable carries a data signature.
We advise both Chinese factories outbound and global buyers inbound, but never two directly competing sides simultaneously. Client business outcomes outrank single-project revenue.
All client data, POs, and supplier intelligence under strict NDA. Our internal AI does not train on, or share, client data. ISO 27001 audited.
